Aviator Suites Hotel is a newly remodeled property preparing for a June opening in Juneau, Alaska. We are building a strong, service-focused team from the ground up and are looking for associates who enjoy creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for guests.

Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and light food items while creating a friendly and engaging environment for guests. This role plays an important part in the overall guest experience, especially during the busy summer tourism season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Prepare and serve simple food items according to hotel standards
• Provide friendly, attentive service and engage with guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Support front desk or hotel team as needed during slower periods

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending or food and beverage experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic drink preparation and food handling
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak summer months
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and team mindset
