This position supports the California Exposition and State Fair’s mission by performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the operations, maintenance, and repair of facility buildings. Perform work in inclement weather, alternating schedules of weekends and nights applying various skills and knowledge in all building trades to assist and facilitate the building maintenance expertise required to set-up and take down various events, fairs, concerts, and trade shows in a fast paced and fun environment.

Working Conditions

  • Physical agility to  climb and work off ladders.
  • Work on hands and knees for  prolonged periods of time.
  • Lift and carry a minimum of 70 pounds.
  • W ork unassisted if necessary and work standing throughout the  work day.
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures, airborne dust, fumes, vapors, chemicals, medical waste and blood borne pathogen.

Special Requirements

  • The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
  • The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.

  • Participation in DMV Pull Notification Program
