CPA/EA Track Accountant- Client Advisory and Firm Growth Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, outgoing accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. A CPA or EA is preferred but not required . You’ll work directly with clients, help expand service offerings, and contribute to building scalable systems and processes.

This is a growth‑track role with autonomy, responsibility, and the ability to earn more through production‑based compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of individual and business clients
• Prepare and review tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120‑S, 1065)
• Perform monthly/quarterly bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
• Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
• Support advisory/CAS projects such as budgeting, forecasting, and workflow improvements
• Communicate proactively with clients and provide strategic recommendations
• Assist in building internal processes, automation, and documentation
• Participate in firm growth initiatives, including client onboarding and service expansion

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting or tax experience (public accounting preferred)
• CPA or EA preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of tax law, financial statements, and accounting systems
• Experience with cloud‑based tools (QBO, UltraTax, Double, CoPilot, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills; outgoing and client‑focused
• Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, resourceful, and excited to help grow a firm
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary floor: $50,000 per year, with the potential for a higher rate based on experience after a 3‑month performance period
