Role Overview :
In this position you will be overseeing the fleet department in INDOT's Vincennes district. This job will include the oversight of 5 shop locations, customers service to INDOT's internal departments, purchasing and disposal of equipment, and ensuring performance standards are met. This position requires travel throughout the district with state vehicle provided. Fleet managers oversee a yearly $2 million dollar equipment budget as well as a $400-500k smaller (rotary) vehicle budget. Fleet managers will participate in monthly statewide peer meetings as well as monthly District managers’ meetings.

Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
