Based in Milwaukee, WI , this is a Contract-to-Direct opportunity on 1st Shift only . You’ll contribute to heavy structural fabrication and welding of large components, turning engineered prints into durable, high-quality builds.
You clock in on first shift, pull the latest drawings, and plan your sequence. You prep edges, set your parameters, and run multi-process welds—GMAW, FCAW, and at times SAW—on substantial plate and structural assemblies. Between passes, you verify weld integrity, touch up with grinders and other fab tools, and keep your cell organized so the next setup is ready to go. Before the whistle, you perform basic equipment care and tidy the area for a safe, efficient start tomorrow.
