Landscape Project Manager
At RHOS, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier quality and exceptional outdoor transformations. We are looking for a dedicated Landscape Project Manager to serve as the vital connection point between our field crews and the office. If you are a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to turn a landscape plan into a flawlessly executed reality, we want you on our team!
The Landscape Project Manager leads landscape construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. In this role, you will plan and coordinate field execution, support our foremen and crews, manage materials and schedules, monitor job costs, and maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams. Your ultimate goal is to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to our precise RHOS quality standards.
Manage assigned landscape projects from kickoff through completion.
Review project scope, plans, specifications, budgets, and timelines before work begins.
Build and maintain comprehensive project schedules for labor, equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontractor support.
Coordinate daily and weekly field execution, anticipating needs to resolve issues before they delay production.
Partner closely with foremen, field supervisors, dispatch, and operations to support daily production, provide clear direction on priorities, and coach field leaders.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, safety, productivity, and customer experience.
Coordinate the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to minimize crew downtime.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to confirm orders, availability, and resolve any delivery issues.
Monitor labor, material, and equipment costs against the budget using job cost reports and production data.
Identify and escalate cost overruns, labor inefficiencies, or scope issues early.
Support administrative workflows including progress billing, T&M billing, receipts/vendor bill verification, and change order documentation.
Utilize LMN and related software to manage job progress, tracking, daily instructions, and organized project records (plans, permits, notes).
Review and approve crew timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Serve as a primary, professional point of contact for homeowners, commercial clients, general contractors, and internal teams.
Manage client expectations by providing proactive updates on schedules, progress, or field challenges.
Lead successful project closeouts, confirming punch-list completion, coordinating final billing support, and capturing lessons learned.
