Most HVAC and refrigeration jobs come with a dispatcher running your day. This one hands you a van, a phone, the parts you need, and trusts you to run it yourself.

We're Quality Restaurant Maintenance & Repair, Inc., and we've been keeping Wendy's restaurants running across Ohio for 32 years. 

We operate across 28 locations, and we're hiring a maintenance technician to keep our equipment running and our buildings in good shape. 

The work is steady. The route is yours. As long as the jobs get done, you set the pace.

What You'll Get:

• $28-$33/hr depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

• General plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC repairs across our restaurant locations
• Inspecting equipment to catch problems before they turn into bigger ones
• Preventive maintenance on refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Reading blueprints and building plans to figure out the right fix
• Bringing in outside contractors when a job needs specialized work
• Light facility cleaning and keeping your van stocked with supplies
• Planning your route and prioritizing your work each day

Who We're Looking For:

You can run your own day without someone looking over your shoulder. You take pride in catching things before they break. You communicate when something's off, and you don't disappear when the work gets harder.

Beyond that:

• High school diploma or GED
• HVAC and Refrigeration certification (required), plus 5+ years of hands-on HVAC/refrigeration experience
• Comfortable with hand tools and power tools
• Able to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Physically able to stand and walk for long stretches, climb ladders, bend, crawl into tight spaces, and lift 50 lbs
