Job Description

Duties:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.
• Principal Accountabilities: Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
• Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.

Skills:

• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred
• Preferred home health experience
• valid PT license
• Epic experience preferred
• support our Morris County region
• Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
• Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.
• Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting.

Education:

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program

Schedule Notes:

• 8-4 pm (Monday-Friday)
• no weekend shift required
• Orientation location: 465 South Street, Morristown, NJ
