About South Psychology

South Psychology is a growing private practice in Centennial, CO serving individuals and families across the lifespan. Our clinicians collaborate closely and participate in regular case consultation. Specialty areas across the team include grief/loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, health psychology, men's sexual health, early childhood mental health, neurodevelopmental disorders, parent management, child and family psychology, and comprehensive assessment (psychoeducational, neurodevelopmental, socioemotional, and personality).

Role Summary

We are seeking a Colorado‑licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our collaborative group. You may specialize your caseload in assessment, therapy, or a blended practice and work with a specific population (e.g., early childhood, children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, families) or across multiple age groups based on your strengths and interests.

What You’ll Do

• Therapy: Provide individual, couple, family, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence‑based and integrative approaches.
• Assessment: Conduct psychological/diagnostic evaluations and produce clear, actionable reports (e.g., psychoeducational, socioemotional, personality).
• Collaborate in regular case consultation meetings to give and receive clinical support.
• Develop and adjust treatment goals with clients and families; coordinate care as appropriate.
• Engage in professional networking to help sustain a healthy caseload.

Qualifications (Required)

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
• Active, independent Colorado psychologist license in good standing.
• Current malpractice insurance.

Preferred

• Completion of APPIC approved internship.
• Experience clinically with your chosen specialization (assessment, therapy, or both).
• Comfort integrating relational/dynamic and behavioral/skills‑based interventions.
• Experience clinically with one or more populations: early childhood (0–5), children (6–12), adolescents (13–17), adults (18+), older adults, couples, families, or lifespan practice.

Work Status

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position (not a W‑2 employee role). Contractors maintain their own malpractice coverage and tax obligations. Scheduling can include daytime, evening, and/or weekends.
