Security Patrol Agent
Silhouette Security Group's primary objective is prevention. While duties vary depending on the client and assigned patrol area, our focus is to provide professional Security Patrol Officers who are BSIS-certified (as required by California law), courteous, and dependable. Officers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and presence while conducting mobile patrol services. Excellent customer service, observation, communication, and de-escalation skills are essential.
As a Silhouette Security Group Security Patrol Officer, you will operate a company patrol vehicle to conduct scheduled and random patrol inspections of assigned properties. Your primary responsibilities are to observe, detect, deter, document, and report suspicious, unsafe, or unauthorized activities while providing a visible security presence. Officers in this position must have a flexible schedule, be available for fill-in assignments when needed, and demonstrate reliability and professionalism at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
● Operate a patrol vehicle safely and professionally throughout assigned patrol routes and properties.
● Conduct scheduled and random patrol stops at client locations to inspect for security concerns, safety hazards, and unauthorized activity.
● Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity, trespassing, vandalism, and other violations.
● Observe and report suspicious persons, vehicles, activities, or conditions.
● Inspect buildings, parking lots, gates, fences, lighting, and common areas during patrol stops.
● Respond to alarms, calls for service, and client requests as directed.
● Prepare accurate and detailed patrol reports, incident reports, and activity logs.
● Report maintenance, safety, and security concerns to supervisors and clients.
● Monitor assigned properties for signs of damage, theft, vandalism, fire hazards, or unauthorized access.
● Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, residents, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
● Preserve the scene of incidents until appropriate authorities arrive.
● Provide emergency assistance and basic first aid or CPR if certified and trained.
● Follow all company policies, procedures, and client-specific post orders.
● Maintain assigned patrol vehicle in a clean, safe, and operational condition.

● Work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
● Frequently enter and exit patrol vehicles throughout the shift.
● Walk assigned properties and patrol areas during patrol stops.

● Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or uneven terrain when conducting inspections.
● Ability to sit, drive, and remain attentive for extended periods.
