Position Summary:

  • The Senior Marketing Design Generalist executes key marketing content strategies across print and digital media channels. The position involves successfully implementing the planning and execution of designed content, driving best practices, and optimizing the brand for high conversion results. The Senior Marketing Design Generalist is a forward-thinking marketer who is an effective communicator, willing to make decisions, and owns the responsibility for the outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary Marketing Activities will include:
    • Email Content Creation: Create emails that position our message with compelling CTAs that target company goals. Test to ensure accuracy/quality and rendering across platforms.
    • Email Advancement: Champion continuous improvement of email capabilities, including targeting, template development, personalization, A/B testing, etc.
    • Marketing Automation: Maximize the use of the HubSpot platform, including but not limited to email tracking, analytics and reporting, workflows, and managing lead scoring.
    • Content Design: Responsible for all print and advertising content, display materials, digital assets, presentations, signature banners, pop-ups, and other projects as needed.
    • Database Management: Manage subscriber database, creating and updating lists and segmenting data for targeted email campaigns. Manage unsubscribes, non-deliverables, contact changes, and deletion of free mail and international subscribers.
    • Website Maintenance Management: Update WordPress/Plugins, update, and refresh website content, and assist with SEO optimization. Manage Google Analytics.
    • Webinar Coordination: Facilitate webinars from beginning to end.
    • Brand Maintenance: Support and maintain CCB's established brand in all creative projects.
    • Google Ads: Oversee and manage the outsourcing of Paid Google Advertising.
    • Outsourcing: Oversee and manage the outsourcing of content creation and planning.
    • SEO Strategy: Oversee and manage the outsourcing of CCB’s SEO strategy, overseeing and tracking results.
    • Meta Ads Management: Creation and management of Meta Advertising
  • Secondary Marketing Activities will include:
    • Perform Knowledge Advancement: Track industry trends, email strategies, best practices, and suggest courses and educational opportunities to increase your abilities and knowledge.
    • Reporting: Analyze and report on campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends, and opportunities. Provide quarterly results to the VP of Marketing.
    • Marketing Content Calendar: Ensure the Marketing Content calendar is maintained and up to date, planning for deadlines and including all stakeholders in invitations.
    • Content Assistance: Assist with copywriting, editing, and proofing.
    • Event Assistance: As requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent in digital design, art, or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a digital design role
  • Knowledge of the HubSpot Marketing platform and HubSpot CRM
  • Good understanding of the current IT market, competitors, and solution offerings
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proficient knowledge of SEO, WordPress, social media, and video creation
  • Experience with graphic design, online marketing tools, CRM, and automation platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other tracking systems with proven ability to compile, analyze, and adjust based on performance data and metrics
  • Experience with event planning
  • Type 40+ words per minute

  • Outstanding written communication skills, with the ability to edit and proof written content
  • A creative mindset and a strong sense of aesthetics with high attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with good judgment in assessing priorities to meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task several job responsibilities with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral communication and the ability to speak effectively before a group
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
