Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Shadyside/Fox Chapel

• Start Date: early April
• Hours: Mondays to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; Guaranteed 42.5 hours/week
• Hourly Rate: $27-30
• Children: 11-month-old
• Paid Vacation: Two weeks PTO, 5 sick days or personal days standard paid holidays plus Juneteenth, 4th of July, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve,   NYE
• Requirements:

up-to-date vaccinations preferred

up-to-date infant/child CPR/First Aid certification

Responsibilities and Duties

  This kind, laid-back, communicative family is searching for a long-term nanny to care for their curious and energetic 11-month-old son. They’re currently based in Shadyside and excitedly planning a move to Fox Chapel upon buying a home as their next family chapter unfolds. Both parents work from home some days, but they’re busy professionals who will give you space to fully take the lead during the day. They appreciate a general routine to keep things running smoothly, while also leaving room for flexibility and fun. Their sweet boy is on the move and eager to explore the world around him! He loves library story hours, outdoor play, age-appropriate art projects, and discovering new places. He thrives when he’s out and about and can get restless staying in the same space all day — so a nanny who enjoys getting out of the house will be a perfect match. Your days will include all the usual baby care — feeding, diaper changes, naps, playtime, and plenty of cuddles — along with washing bottles and handling the child’s laundry. The family is screen-free and values engaging, hands-on activities that support development and creativity.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
