  • Description - External Job Summary: Under supervision, may plan, organize, or coordinate the activities of an assigned program. Learns to review, monitor and ensure compliance with assigned program area's policies and procedures.
    Job Specific Duties:
    Under limited supervision, collects, monitors, and analyzes employment statistical data for regular update ad inclusion in the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). Researches and analyzes program/operation data; generates regular and ad hoc statistical and informational reports. Record, schedule and investigate Title VII and ADA complaints impartially, promptly and accurately. Provides advice and counsel relative to Title VII laws and all EEO requirements when requested. Ensure EEO Consideration during interview and selection process (ISP), offer recommendation regarding EO guidelines and civil rights law as applicable. Collect statistical data on participants in and beneficiaries of state highway programs, relocates, impacted citizens and affected communities. Prepare the annual Title VII update reports presenting the accomplishments for the past year and goals for the next year. Researches and analyzes state codes, federal regulations and industry manuals regarding forms policies and procedures; Recommend programmatic and / or operational changes based on review, audit or survey results. Monitors, tracks and maintains records of compliance. Provide advice and counsel regarding Title VII, ADA, and EEO requirements when requested. Prepare, report and maintain EEO Statistical Data, along with the ability to collect and tabulate statistical data using software and related analytical and informational tools. Prepare and circulate EEO Monthly utilization data to Executive leadership, district officials and federal operating administration personnel, as required in support of the AAP and professional diversity. Log and maintain all EEO, EEOC, GCEO and OIG complaints and responses. Coordinate and prepare ADA reports and updates, internally in response to federal reporting requirements and externally for local government and MPOs. Monitor barrier removals and update ADA Transition Plan accordingly. Entry Qualifications:
    High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.

    • Knowledge of ADA rules and regulations in order to understand the impacts to design and construction of a project

In addition, an employee must have an overall ePerformance rating score of three (3) or higher on their most current evaluation. Please note that Memorandums of Concern are not considered disqualifying factors. Human Resources may remove any employee from consideration for selection who is pending a disciplinary action; however, if the action is resolved in the employee’s favor, he or she will be allowed to compete.
